Redox reactions

At the end of this activity, students should be able to:
– write a redox reaction in the form of half–equations
– balance redox reactions occurring in acidic solution, using the method of half–equations
– balance redox reactions occurring in alkaline solution, using the method of half–equations
– know how to recognise the oxidising agent (reducing agent) in an aqueous solution
– determine the concentration of a solution using redox titration.
